Homework Policy
Starting Monday ___________, students will have homework. Each Monday your child will take home homework and he/she will return it on Friday. A homework folder will be provided for each child by the teacher. It is the students' responsibility to take care of their folders. All homework will be a review of concepts learned in class. Please check your child's homework to make sure she/he has completed all assignments and then sing it. Incomplete or missing homework will result in your child sitting in time out for 5 min. at recess time. Please help your child with this very important responsibility. Her are some other things you can do to help your child with their homework:
- Find her/him a place free from distractions to do her/his work.
- Have the following supplies at home: pencils,crayons, glue, scissors, and an eraser.
- Read with your child at least 15 minutes each noght.
- Check and sign her/his homework before she/he turns it in.
- Keep her/his homework folder in a safe place so that she/he will not lose it.
